Our home away from home when we visit Tacoma. Mattress was a bit too soft for me. Housekeeping seems spread too thin when trying to get all the rooms done after a busy weekend. Noise from trains and freeway can't be helped. We never consider this a safe neighborhood for walking but parking area seems safe. It's just how Tacoma is. The remodel is nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is located near enough to Hilltop and downtown for us. We stay here every time we come to Tacoma. Good soundproofing room to room.

Good for an overnight stay while travelling. Waffle maker, fresh eggs, and fresh bread. The bread was very stale. The breakfast was very poor. Possibly because it was Easter Monday. The waffles are just toaster pop ups. Most of the chain hotels with breakfast have waffle makers which are much better. We definitely did not like the breakfast.

Pleasant and convenient alternative for visiting UPS Friendly staff. The room was clean and bright; at first a little loud as our room was on the top floor on the same side as the freeway, but turning on the fan eliminated that as a potential problem.

Over all modern appeal of the hotel was great, beyond what I expected. The staff were all friendly. The bed wasn't very comfortable, however I'm glad that there will ample amount of pillows. I loved how clean the hotel was, it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Disappointed The website did not state that the pool was seasonal and currently closed. The area is VERY unsafe; signs in the parking lot warning to take all your belongings with you and that it is not the responsibility of the hotel if your vehicle is stolen. The faciility was newly remodeled and lovely.
