AmaZing! This place opened 4 months ago and had great food options + wine. Not too fancy but perfect for a fun date night!
We enjoyed cocktails and dinner at La Stella Thursday evening before going to the symphony. First of all, the host, hostess and servers were all very gracious and welcoming. I enjoyed the O Sole Mio cocktail while my husband had the Nebbia - both were delightful. We both had an insalada mista before dinner. I had the La Nerano Del Cavaliere and my husband had Agnolotti Pizzicati for our dinner and shared the Cannolo La Stella. The food was all delicious and we look forward to returning in the near future.
While the menu looked exciting and full of promise, the actual food was just ok. Lacking seasoning (we had to ask for salt) and unremarkable. The service, however, was outstanding. Our server was attentive and staff was constantly refilling water and promptly clearing dishes. I might give it a second chance in case the kitchen was having an off night.
Visited this restaurant for restaurant week. La Stella was nice with a posh ambience. We enjoyed our starters of oysters and meatballs. For mains, we had the veal pasta and the seafood pasta. Both were nice and heavy and rich. We were disappointed by the desserts. The tiramisu was aesthetically pleasing, but mostly mascarpone cream. The choco taco like dessert was just alright as well.
I made a reservation on a Sunday afternoon for my friend's birthday. We opted for the 3 course meal experience and it was phenominal. We were the only ones there for the first hour and a half, so it made us feel like we had the whole place to ourselves! They even brought friend a birthday dessert on top of the desserts included in our experience. It was so awesome!
Great food and great service! I highly recommend La Stella, and will definitely be back.
What a gem! Lovely outdoor seating within view of Opera-goers. Nice pre-event dinner option. Totally accommodating for dietary restrictions. SO nice!! Thanks, Chef! Good food. Wonderful service. We will go back.
We enjoyed every bite we took! Appetizers were amazing. The pastas tasted so fresh & cooked perfectly. Awesome desserts too. We will definitely be back!
