We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and came here because of the reviews and proximity to the Meyerson Symphony Center. It turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we have had in Dallas. The service and food were amazing! The oysters and branzino in particular were excellent! There was also live piano music, which paired well with the fun cocktails on the menu. I would highly recommend La Stella Cucina Verace to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience!
The food was wonderful and the wait staff very attentive. The assistant manager Sam was fantastic. Our only real complaint was the noisy level. You couldn’t hear anyone at your own table because it was so loud in there. They had a pianist and he also sang. We will go again just because of the food and Sam
We had a 7:15 reservation but we’re not seated until almost 8. Meanwhile we watched other parties of 4 get seated quickly. Grateful for good company because it took lots of time to see the server, order, and receive food.
Very, very nice restaurant. We arrived and it took them 15 minutes or more to actually have contact with us at the table, which was annoying. To their credit, they gave us a free appetizer and a free wine upgrade, and were very nice and apologetic. Everything else was stellar. Great food, excellent wine list, good service (after the shaky start), lovely atmosphere. Best Italian food I've had in Dallas.
I went for lunch…the service was phenomenal as was the branzino. Will definitely be back for dinner.

Great authentic Italian food, if you're looking to simple Alfredo then this isn't the place for you. I had the house red wine (Agostino) and it was fatalistic. For my entrée l had the Agnolotti Pizzicati and it was mouth watering and not as heavy as most pastas. They do not have chicken on the menu so the pasta came with beef or veal (I don't recall) but beyond reached my expectations. This was a pleasant surprise. We had dinner at Musume the night before and noticed that there was an Italian restaurant where the old Flora St. Cafe was. We decided to try it the next day for lunch and it was great. Must try are the oysters and the Tiramisu. Ricardo the managing partner was an excellent hosts. Will definitely be part of our rotation.
The food was amazing and the price was overall justified
