The food was very good. But I wouldn’t say good value. Very expensive. The very average sized Branzino was a whopping $56.00. The charge for bread was $11.00. Service was very average. Our waiter was hardly seen. Had to flag him down for everything we wanted from cocktails to more wine. Never offered a wine list. There was live music all evening which was way too loud and we even sat at the back of the room. So over all the food gets high marks but that’s about it.

I Love the Italian atmosphere! Authentic food and excellent variety of vine and cocktails to pair with every dish. Great service! Absolutely recommend La Stella.
Lovely setting. Music way too loud food uneven: prawns, ossobuco good, veal mediocre, a bit dry, and lacking in flavor (even w extra ham and cheese). Disappointing that not more special, especially at those prices

Best Italian place I’ve been in Dallas. Everything was impeccable. HIGHLY recommend going to celebrate a special occasion or to just have a good time. Incredible!
