We had such a great experience for my boyfriend's birthday. The restaurant was elegant. They had someone playing the piano which made for such a great atmosphere and romantic. The food was delicious.
We love the beautiful dining room; it's fairly busy but still relaxing. The service is always great and the food is served promptly. That's important because we are there before a performance at either the Winspear or the Meyerson. It's the perfect spot for pre-theater/symphony. Food is always good. I had the lamb stew with polenta for the first time and it was excellent.
Food was absolutely delicious and our server (Paco) was outstanding.
First time dining here and loved it!! The attentiveness of the staff was spot on. Very much made you feel like family. The meatballs are the best I’ve had anywhere in DFW. Definitely up there in cost for Italian cuisine but you get what you pay for. Well done, La Stella! Only suggestion would be to get new speakers for the live music. They did her no favors whatsoever and I’m sure she was much better than the sound system made her sound

Everything we had was amazing. The standout was the octopus , so tender and flavorful.

We had the best time last night. The service was impeccable from start to finish. We were the last guests to leave! And they didn’t mind waiting fur the car to arrive. The Fritto Misto Lobster Pasta and Cannolis were the stars of the evening. Great wine list with lots of heavy hitters! When back in Dallas we will be returning to La Stella Cucina Verace.
