The team was very accommodating and kind and the food was amazing!
What an exceptional experience; food, service, and atmosphere. If you want quality Italian, La Stella is the place to go. It is going to be on the high end for price but the restaurant is worth it. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. The calamari is fantastic and their pastas are great.
We’ve been here a handful of times and the service is always incredible and the food is amazing! Always look forward to the experience created at La Stella!
The food was great and the atmosphere even better. WT Greer was exceptional on the piano and vocals. Our service was excellent. It was my first visit and I will be back. FYI order the Tiramisu for dessert and don't skip the octopus appetizer.
The food was just better than good. The ambiance was awful. We had never dined at this restaurant but we're hoping for a romantic spot for hubby's birthday. I even asked for a quiet table. They had a lounge singer in the restaurant who was singing incredibly loud the entire time we were there. He even walked around to tables singing to others. La Stella has authentic, elevated Italian cuisine. We had the octopus, cotoletta (veal), caprese salad, paparedelle, etc. It all was excellent. We are fortunate to eat at high end restaurants and have traveled extensively. La Stella hits the mark and defines the balance we look for in a dining experience. Pro tip: order things for the table to share so that you can take some home to warm up the next day!!
Our second visit was as just good as the first! Our server, Amanda was amazing. She was attentive, ask good questions and made us feel welcome. Our 4 dishes were all exceptional. The octopus appetizer was very well prepared and a must try. We had a GF person in our party (not celiac) and Amanda made sure to reference some great choices and came prepared with fresh veggies instead of bread. Great choice before the Nutcracker!
Adriano was outrageous and outstanding! Be sure and ask for his table! Maitre d checked on our booth several times for well being and drink & food suggestions, much appreciated.
Service was amazing! Food was great and walking distance to the Winspear Opera House. Will come again!
