Great find in downtown Dallas. We sat at the bar and Paco had excellent recommendations. Drinks great as well. The spicy gnocchi is not spicy so don’t let that sway you like it did us initially. Great musician playing on our night. Food was fabulous but it is on the pricier side. You get what you pay for though.

Our return trip to Stella’s was for a 5:00 reservation. The restaurant was almost empty, yet we were seated close to the door on a cold night. The waiter was ok when we asked for another table, but the manager was not. We insisted, and were moved to a better location. Our waiter, Christian was terrific. This was a 2nd visit. We waited several minutes before we were offered water or any type of service. We watched other wait staff chatting at the bar. The food wasn't as tasty as our previous visit or as plentiful. Wine pour was stingy. Waiter was adequate, but no where near the caliber you expect at those prices. Overall an underwhelming experience from our 1st visit. We will reconsider if we come again.

Very good food excessively expensive for what you get
Our favorite place to dine when we have a 7:30 performance at the Meyerson. Food and service are great. Our wait person was fantastic; always on point. The branzino was very good; cooked perfectly. My only complaint is all that is served is the piece of fish - nothing else on the plate. It tasted great but it looked so unappealing and forlorn.
Based on other reviews this is one of Dallas' best restaurants. Wanted it to be great. Location is great and ambiance is good. Very quiet since it was a Tuesday and very few other patrons. The service was very good. Some of the food was great and some was ok. Was anticipating great for all. I don't spend this much for a meal very often and will try other options next time. Value just wasn't there.
