We have eaten here several times. This particular evening was Christmas Eve. I was a little disappointed at how heavy the sauces were in all the dishes. The food was good, but not as good as other times. The prices were higher than in the past too. The atmosphere is always fun and festive, with live music. The service was outstanding.
We had an amazing first experience for Dinner! Nick P (waiter), was awesome, fun, knowledgeable and professional!! My wife & I enjoyed the Pasta Bolognese, fine wine and for dessert, canoli’s and cappuccino’s!! We also met the Chef, very gracious and appreciative of us dining there! GM checked on us several times as well! Well most definitely go back!!
Outstanding as always. La Stella never disappoints! Everything was a pure perfection - food, choices, wine, cocktails, ambience, service, management… Still the best restaurant in the DFW area!!

Dined here with the family prior to seeing a show. We had a reservation and arrived early. Seating no problem. Ambiance is beautiful. Service is impeccable. Every dish we had - from the appetizers to the main courses to the desserts - was fabulous. Cocktails were also delicious. Perfect place for a special occasion or if you’re just wanting some authentic Italian cuisine. Live music was also very nice. Drinks at the bar were outstanding!! Thanks, Paco. Best espresso martinis ever !! Johnathan, our server, was attentive, yet unobtrusive. Provided excellent service and good suggestions. The wine list is terrific a d the food delicious. A superb part of our evening was the music by Dalene Richelle ! Very talented and beautiful lady. Her music transformed our dinner to more than just an excellent meal.
The whole experience was just delightful!! Every dish we have had has been exquisite. The service is great. The music just adds the perfect touch! Will be back again.
Fantastic meal and dining experience. The owners are Italian and the quality and portions of the food is top. Hands down the best Italian in dallas.
