We were so looking forward to this dinner after the reviews on Facebook. Good authentic Italian is so difficult in this city, being of Italian descent and having moved here from Boston and Providence. Great atmosphere, lighting, decor and furnishings. Very welcoming. Very nice bar with a sexy, red, private room behind it Thursday night so live pianist and vocalist. We decided on la Stella to celebrate a birthday party and ended up having a great time. The live music was great. The service was good considering how busy they were and the food just amazing. Think we had just about everything on the menu! After 3 bottles of amarone we left full and happy. Definitely a be back place.
