Last minute decision to go out to dinner. A bit pricey for a somewhat mediocre meal. Great cocktails. The live performance was a questionable choice, just short of being karaoke for such a venue. A little hard to listen to.
Our waiter did a fantastic job along with other team members as it was very busy. We enjoyed the live music. Caprese salad, Burrata with beets, Agnolotti with veal and butter sage sauce and the Tante Palle were all fantastic. Very nice by the glass wine selections.
Fantastic experience. The food was authentic and high quality. The live music piano bar added to the atmosphere. You have to have the meatballs and the agnolotti. The white chocolate bread pudding special was insanely good.
La Stella is my go to for Italian and everyone I bring along with me, it becomes theirs as well. This round I had the lobster ravioli… the pasta is incredible and they load it with lobster. My date had the lamb and he’s done nothing but rave about how amazing this meal was, it was done perfectly (and he is a lamb snob). It was unfortunate that the wagu beef carpaccio was salty with little flavor. The clams in white wine was ok - but the clams were so small and few that they did not add to the flavor. Although the restaurant was lovely, could have done without the female singer.
The food was exceptional and so was the service. This was my second trip there. Very convenient for going to Winspear Opera House afterwards. The gentleman playing the piano was the extra piece of ambiance that made the evening.
We came here with a group of six and had an amazing time. They have live piano bar music which adds to the ambience. The food is amazing and service impeccable. One of dfw best restaurants.
Our meal was exceptional as was the service. The chef even made a different (and delicious) sauce to accompany the evening's special, frutti di mare, so I could enjoy it despite an allergy. This is a truly outstanding restaurant that uses the highest quality ingredients, prepared to the highest standard. It ranks among the best restaurants we've been to throughout the world.
Great food. Fresh house made pasta shows! Excellent flavor profiles. The pasta special we ordered could’ve used a bit more sauce.. which was fabulous btw! this is a minor nit really but the octopus could’ve been a tad more tender. Great ambiance and excellent service.
