Excellent food and nice ambience. The antipasto misto is a particular favorite.

Came to try it out bc I had some resort credit during my most recent stay in Reno. It had pretty good reviews and I like Italian food every now and then so it made sense. Ordered a beer, server poured it so that it had a huge head on it. Surprising, but not a huge deal. I ordered a Caesar salad, and Osso bucco. The Caesar was fine, good, maybe slightly overdressed. La Strada was delicious food served in a beautiful atmosphere.
Our server was not very aware of the menu. He did not know serving etiquette. He was not attentive to our party. I had the baked ziti with the meatballs and salami. The pasta was good. But I was disappointed with the meatballs in the dish. The meatballs were the size ofa small marble and there were only 5 in my dish. DISAPPOINTED with a dish that had great potential. Bigger meatballs and more in the ziti dish.
Mike gave us excellent service, food was delicious we all enjoyed our meal.
