Spending time with friends. Wonderful food and excellent service
Listed as one of the top 10 Italian Restaurants in the USA, was a huge statement that the restaurant did not live up to or close. Its a decent Italian but does not rank in any top list , period. Everyone was nice and it was clean and pleasant but just NOT a gourmet experience.

All was well with great food
The food was awesome, and the service was top-notch. Being seated so close to the kitchen was definitely entertaining, but the off-tune whistling from one of the cooks got old pretty quick. Other than that one small issue, this is a definite go-to restaurant when in the Reno area.
Had the lasagna and Uncle Willie's Raviolis. Superb! Highly recommend this diverse up scale restaurant.
Well, This is our third supper dining experience at La Strada and we were greatly disappointed. We were greeted and seated in a friendly and timely manner, but beyond that — the waiter was in experienced and my expensive & recommended chicken “Matone” was dry and lacked a well needed sauce. In addition, we were charged a split fee on our shared small Caesar salad and to make matters worse charged for anchovies. All of these fees were unanticipated, nor were we provided informed consent.
