Was an awesome experience. Went to LA Strata for my lady's birthday. Aleksander was awesome with great service and a good sense of humor. The food was beyond expectations hey! Tasted like a dish you would be served in Italy! They even sang Happy Birthday in Italiano! Will definitely find a reason to return. I do strongly recommend LA Strada for your special occasion... especially if you want an excuse to dress up and create a occasion to see your lady in her little black dress!
Everything was delicious including the mushroom ravioli signature dish. Would ask for quieter table away from kitchen next time.
I had the baked ziti which was very good, others in my party had the mushroom ravioli and Willies Ravioli. They could not eat either. Alexander was our server and he was very good.

When making the reservations it was asked if it was a special occasion I submit birthday and there was no recognition of my husband’s birthday. Not sure why it’s asked if your restaurant doesn’t recognize it.

Dinner was good; but not exceptional. I have had better Italian food elsewhere. I also thought that a cost of $8 for tomato soup was high. So... it was nice, but not great.
It was okay. Maybe my expectations were higher. The server was good and knowledgeable about the food and wines. The portions were large. I had the calamari as an appetizer. It was a bit chewy. The scallops and risotto were good. The desert was okay. Overall it was an okay meal

We were a party of 3 couples, all related, and all celebrating an anniversary. We were also on a tight schedule, as dinner preceded a major concert. The service was efficient and unobtrusive, the food superb, and the Captain finished it off by serenading the group beautifully. We could not have been better treated!
