Knowing the Mushroom Ravioli is a signature dish st this restaurant, I ordered it for my main course. One of my dining companions, who doesn’t like mushrooms, tasted mine and decided that’s what he would order next time. All 4 of us ordered different salads and different entrees, We shared tastes, and everything was great. It is somewhat expensive, but probably worth the price. The service was excellent
Great food
Wonderful special - was able to taste what seemed to be the entire menu for a reasonable price. High quality food - you could taste the uniqueness and effort behind each dish.
The service was great and the seating nice. The meals, chicken alfredo and veal, was prepared wonderfully. LaStrada is a good place to have dinner with friends and family.
We were in the Hotel for a concert and were told in advance from a friend the food here was very good. We had 6 O'clock reservations before an 8 O'clock concert. As we were being seated we were visited by the manager, who gave several recommendations from the menu. Our appetizers (full order of mushroom ravioli), cocktails, salads, and our main course were all very good. The service (Blaze was our server) was excellent! Made it out by 7:30 with plenty of time to comfortably make it to the concert. Highly recommend La Strada.
I first went to La Strada when it opened in the 1970's; it was the best food and service in Reno. We took our parents their for their birthdays; it had been years since my last visit. The food was as good as ever. Our server was young and seemed a bit inexperienced...nothing "wrong" with her as a person. She just lacked that sort of true professionalism that you would expect. Food was excellent and service was very good The veal piccato was very enjoyable with a wonderful special favored sauce. My husband had the veal parmigiana which was also very good. We had a ceasar salad to accompany our dinner which was just the right size.
Most very good restaurants do not have the server bus the table. Shame on La Strada for doing this. The people who looked like bus people ignored us. The food was OK, not top notch. I would probably look elsewhere.
Awesome atmosphere and great quality food. Any pasta plate is beyond delicious here. Perfect place to impress your date if you got a chance!
