It was really great service, the food was decent, I’ve eaten there before about a year ago and whoever the chef was that night was amazing. The chef this time could’ve done a little better. We tried their chef special 4 course meal.
We had a great time and our waiter Keith was the absolute best! A party of 8 is hard to keep track of and he didn’t miss a beat. Also he’s hilarious and engaging. His helper Cameron was excellent as well...no one was ever without water or fresh bread. We will request this dynamic duo the next time we go!
It was my birthday and my husband worked with the restaurant to surprise me with a wonderful meal and a cake. The hostess, our waitress Kimberly and her assistant Cameron, and our sommelier Gary made a special night magical. Everything was amazing!
The whole dining experience was wonderful from start to finish. We had made reservations and were seated immediately. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. I rarely give five stars, but La Strada definitely deserved it! We will definitely return next time we are in Reno.
We eat at La Strada every time we are in Reno and it never disappoints! Our waitress, Victoria was very nice. Only problem was my husbands steak was over cooked, but it happens. The manager was very nice and they comped his meal, even though we told them it wasn’t necessary. Veal Picatta was excellent! We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked perfectly. The serving was large for 2 people. I would say 3-4 people could easily share it as a appetizer.
Hands-down the best lamb chops on this continent!
For the price, I didn't expect luke warm food... The food was good, but it wasn't that busy that our dinner was not hot! The soup was excellent, but the portion size was crazy small... I am not a big eater and soup and salad are my go to's! - they wouldn't allow our show - 50% off dinner special for my soup and salad... My partner got a full dinner entree and that was the luke warm menu item...!
Service was great food exceptional. Always consistent. One of the two Italian restaurants we enjoy as locals and have been dining there for years. Great choice any time for any occasion.
Went on Christmas night so it was pretty busy but the staff is some of the most attentive in any restaurant we've ever been. The Xmas special 4 course dinner was very very good and they served the regular menu as well. I think the only suggestion is to play some Italian type music in the background to increase the ambience. All over nice experience.
