Great service, friendly and professional staff. The food was excellent.
Our server was outstanding, friendly and helpful with menu and we received excellent service. Ceasar salad was good, but missed the fresh anchoives , anchoive paste was used instead. Sslad was good and just the right amount of dressing.The veal piccata was fork tender and melted in your mouth. The veal parmigiana was alittle tough and alittle over cooked. Dessert the creme brulee was excellent custatrd melted i your mouth.
We visited La Strada prior to a concert. We were seated quickly, but the dining room quickly filled up. The wait staff became quite frenzied and the usual excellent service took a hit! (You would think they would plan better for this.) We let our waiter know of our departure time for the concert and she did an excellent job of getting us out...... We had a reservation. We were able to order gluten free meals that were very good. We had chicken and veal piccata they were both excellent.
I took my friend for her 77th birthday and was most pleased about the new appetizer of mushroom raviolis and 2 shrimp. It was the perfect start of our delicious meal of veal. We were surprised to see that the dinner included potatoes and asparagus. We had ordered a dish of spinach and another of asparagus so we ended up taking those two vegetables home. Antonio was a great server. He knew our time was limited and made sure we didn’t have wait for anything. Michael was very hospitable and made us feel welcome. I observed him as he seated other patrons and he was spot on every time! Great food, great atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
La Strada has the best pasta and sauce in Reno. Their bread is also outstanding. I highly recommend any of the handmade pastas.
