Food and service were excellent, but the front-of-house check-in experience was quite off putting. First, there was one long line that did not distinguish between reservation and non-reservation. The person working the front-of-house would disappear for several minutes before returning. Many in line had questions about this apparent disorganized way of simply asking to be seated. Once we were inside the experience was great.
Great service. Fabulous food. We were very happy with our experience at this restaurant. When we return to Reno we will definitely go back for dinner.
We always enjoy La Strada. The experience is warm throughout. The service is excellent, and the waiter is always helpful when we're torn between entrees. Loved the wine we chose!
Absolutely loved this restaurant! We were eating before a show and they were kind and considerate with regards to the time constraint. We went on a Saturday night, which was busy, and so the food took a little bit to arrive. They brought a complimentary mushroom ravioli for us while we waited! It was great! Absolutely recommend!
A good dinner and the service was very fine. There were a couple of "hiccups"...: 1. The Manager "hustled" us a little too much to be a fine dining experience. 2. The noise at one of the tables became so much at one point in the dinner that my friend and I actually found ourselves shouting at each other just to be heard. However, if those two standouts were tossed, it would have been a great night. The server was very attentive and the food was good.
My husband and I came to Reno to run the Reno Marathon and of course carbs are required. We had a wonderful experience at La Strada. The food was the best Italian food I have had - no question. The wine list was expansive! My server was fantastic - friendly from the start and extremely attentive.
Our server, Blaze, was outstanding. He kept an eye on us to make sure our requests were taken care of in a timely manner. Food was prompt and well heated. Salads and breads excellent. Will be going again.
Chicken Mattone was superb.
Nice meal to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday. Great service. Tasty food. Large portions!
