Great service and the "Trust Me" selections were great as always.
It is a warm & comfortable place to hang out either with family, friends or business . I like the semi formal service. I was not so happy with the food and desert. Although there were many choices. My favorite is crème Brule (it did not meet the standard) Liked the grandeur and ambiance. The server was very courteous and made us feel comfortable right away. He was also able to give us some good suggestions. We might come again if my family will suggest.
My wife and I eat at La Strada whenever we pass through Reno. The food is fantastic; the first place I had a risotto that led me to understand why some people get so excited by risottos. It's set the standard for every risotto since then. At this meal I had the veal saltimboca, which was the equal or better of any I had while living in NYC. Dinner at LaStrada on New Year's Eve was perfect. The service is outstanding, the food is exceptional. Although a bit pricey it is so worth it. It is a place where families can go, couples can feel special and we even had the pleasure of watching the younger generation all dressed up ready to party. A great time with amazing food.
We were staying at the Silver Legacy and went to La Strada for dinner on New Year's Eve. Originally we had reservations on Open Table for 5:45pm and wanted to get our reservations moved back, but since it was New Year's Eve I figured it would not be possible. Much to our surprise, we called down and spoke with Monica and she was happy to accommodate us at a later time. When we arrived, the hostess, Monica, seated us and she was great! The service was great and the food good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Loved the attentive waiter, Jonah, esp Bartender Micheal for cocktails. Food was delightful and just the right amount. Assorted bread basket a real treat. Decadent desserts were an added bonus.
Excellent food and service. The guys in our group had the sampler plates and really enjoyed them. I opted for the raviolis but was undecided between the mushroom and the meat until the water suggested partial order of each. Great idea! Great wine list to go with it.
The tasting menu for New Year's Eve featured amazing Reno staples like steak and lobster. It was an incredible value. Honestly, the amazing basket of bread was so old school delicious. I still dream of it. And the server was one of the best waiters I have ever experienced.
The service was top notch. Our waiter Tony was Stellar. He recommended the mushroom ravioli as an appetizer. The ravioli was fabulous. We were so happy with the recommendation. The bread basket was great too. We orders the veal picatta and the Ahi. The picatta was the best I have ever tried. The Ahi was wonderful as well.
