We used to live in Reno and have been here many times in the past and enjoyed spectacular meals and experiences. We’ve not been back for about 3 years. The meal was disappointing. The famous mushroom ravioli and the veal saltimbocca were both cold - not even warm - room temperature. Flavor was fantastic as to be expected. And the service was spectacular. I should have said something but did not.
We enjoyed everything we had for dinner it was all very good and service from the waiter to the bus boy was excellent highly recommend!
The swordfish was really good, however, I was a solo diner and feel like I got shafted with Service. Was after 8pm, not many tables occupied but still my Server found time to ignore me for most of the time. La Strada is a prime venue for El Dorado, and the prices are not cheap. Think I deserved more attentive service.
Came here for our daughter's birthday on Sunday night. We were seated at table 11 against the back wall literally at the end of the restaurant which was actually preferable. Food was very good as always as was the service, our server was excellent and very gracious to our 9 year old. She even received a rendition of Happy Birthday in Italian which was a cool touch. We had another fantastic dinner. The food and service were excellent. It’s our favorite restaurant.

La Strada is a quiet, beautiful restaurant. The food is delicious. The setting is lovely. We had a wonderful dinner there twice in the last month. Our most recent dinner was on 9/10 and was outstanding, primarily due to amazing service from our server, Keith. We asked Keith for recommendations on what to order and he did even better than that!
