When I am in Reno, I always make reservations at La Strada for dinner. I ordered the Saltimbocca as my entree, and it was delicious. If you don't know what that is it is veal, with prosciutto, fontina cheese and sage in a wine sauce. It also came with sauteed spinach and garlic. I had a glass of Ferrari-Carrano Fume Blanc with my meal. I had the tiramisu for dessert. Great meal as usual!
The potatoes were inedible. Dry, hard and barely warm. The kitchen staff had to be aware and the waiter could not have missed the condition.
Kieth, as always, was the perfect waiter. And we were fortunate to have Christopher serenade us with a happy birthday in Italian. And, of course, the food was wonderful.
Great service and ambiance! My boyfriend’s food was excellent. My scallops were tasty but overcooked so chewy and rubber like and my risotto was undercooked so crunchy at times, but the flavor was delicious.

We love coming to La Strada. Very warm and friendly remembered like it was yesterday. We were very well attended. The staff was like best friends and family. Our meals are always delicious. Did I mention fun? Thank you, never change.
