First time dining at La Strada and entire experience was excellent. The risotto with scallops, mushroom ravioli, expresso gellato was sooo good as well as the bread basket and ice tea. Service very efficient and ambience

We enjoyed a great meal with great friends. Front desk was a little on the abrupt side. Felt like a trainee lost control and then management had to take over. We went for a cocktail at CinCin's (next door) - had awful service and awful cocktails at that bar. Don't recommend. But once we were seated, our waiter was fabulous, served us amazing drinks, the food was superb (grilled octopus, mushroom raviolis, caesar salads, veal parmigiana, linguine/clams and pasta carbonara). I have spent years in Italy and enjoy the food of different regions, specifically because the importance of fresh. So I was looking forward to enjoy La Strada. First I called ahead specifically because I have an allergy to sulfa and was insured by the young lady that answered the phone that they did not use canned foods and everything was made fresh before I made a reservation. Excellent service. Artichokes are addictive. Ravioli and lasagna always good. Sautéed spinach with the red pepper flakes is yummy.
The ambience is very elegant, quiet, and the wait staff is on top of everything. The maitre'd asked where we were from and when we told him Albany, NY he said he was from a neighboring town. What a small world! We had a very nice chat. I ordered the veal parmigiana and my friend had the chicken parmigiana. Both meals were wonderful. We couldn't finish all of it. Top notch!
