As this is supposed to be a "value" clinic with cheaper prices, I was shocked to learn that their prices were the second highest in the Kent/Covington area. Only VCA was higher. I needed to euthanize my cat and they wanted $120 for it without cremation!! Very sad to see a vet clinic that advertises as a cheaper place to get stuff done, and they are not that!

Not helpful. Expensive and told something required an antibiotic, but it was actually viral.

Vets and employees are nice. Charge about the same as banfield but does not take appointments. Came in 10 min before open and i am the 3rd on list, it has been over an hour and still waiting on vaccine. Don't think i will renew their plan after this year. Consider the time i spend here, i lost more money than going to a more expensive clinic but faster service.

I have been taking my pets here for years. I dont think they sanitize the place. Not aware I adopted a cat who was sick with fatal FIP. Instead of diagnosing her properly they charged me around 1500.00 for services that were of no benefit to her because she needed to be put to sleep. Then I adopted a cat from Animal Shelter in Auburn and brought it here. Afterwards the cat caught ringworm and I had to return it back to Auburn Animal Shelter and treat my entire family and house for ringworm. Just recently I brought my tw... read more

I hate to leave this review as we have been patients of Value Pet since they opened in Kent. There is nothing wrong with the doctors or their treatment of the patients, however: twice now they have failed to move a prescription to a different pharmacy. I asked over a year ago to move our prescription to south hill, and they obliged and even confirmed that they had done this. When I called south hill they said they couldn't move the prescription without an exam. Fine, but in the mean time my dog has no medication and can't wa... read more

The Service at this location is horrible, even by the doctors. They seriously need to have some training in dealing with people in a professional manner. They have a very condescending attitude and present a nice/nasty demeanor. I went in to this location to obtain a new supply of flea meds (Nexguard), the service rep behind the counter was extremely rude and said, "without a prescription or an exam, we can't help you." NOT "have you been here before? when was the last time your had an exam?" When I shared this information a... read more

The only reason I would bring an pet here is to die. I have brought my dog here twice now, because we were in a pinch for time with the kids, and both times I have been utterly disappointed with the amount of attention to detail and cost of this establishment. This place is all about high volume and low quality. If your pet is actually sick and needing more than basic instinct care don't go here. Most recently I brought my dog Max, Bernese mountain dog Newfoundland mix, who was really lethargic, labored breathing, and mi... read more

My first visit was easy my questions were answered but I wasn't told they charge to go in with your pet until AFTER the check up, then the second visit the man who took my dog in said he was only taking her weight but then I was called to pay for three shots I wasn't told they gave her, I wasn't told the prices beforehand or what they were for and two were more like suggestions than needs so it was a waste and I had stood in line before they took her to ask to check her and was ignored as they kept calling other names as I s... read more

Only complaint is their min. cost for Meds. You are better off getting a hand written prescription and going to Walmart to have it filled. Value Pet charges around $17.00 and Walmart charges $4.00. Value Pet Clinic wanted to charge me $17.00 for (9) pills that I normally get for 18 cents for (9). I only needed 9 pills to hold me over until my order of 360 pills arrived at a total cost of $7.20. I explained this to the staff but they said that is what they charge and they could not change it. If I was the manager, I wou... read more
