The staff is always friendly and the doctors are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have never felt pressured or made to feel like a bad pet owner by any of the staff like I have by past vet clinics. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to take their pets.
This pet hospital is incredibly up to date in equipment/technology, very clean and has at least 3 vets on staff. They are very knowledgeable and caring - great staff. 3 year old, spayed housemate. Not eating, which is not common for this cat. She is very vocal and demanding for her wet food at 6 am and 6 pm daily. She has access to dry food 24/7. She shares the house with 2 other cats and 2 human employees. She had bound up bloating. X-rays were taken and she was given intravenous fluids for dehydration. Sent home with pill... read more
Diane did a great job with our old dog. She is 15 and can be a handful! We went to Lakeland years ago, but moved and went to a new groomer. She recently retired, and left us looking for someone fast. I called Lakeland and they got her in quickly. I was so glad that Diane was still there! I would highly recommend Lakeland for grooming your dog. Missy thanks you!
It was a Christmas miracle. I had a kitten with a swollen lip and wanted to get him in sooner rather than later to make sure it wasn’t infected and was hoping to get in that Friday, but they were able to squeeze my little guy in Christmas Eve when they were already short staffed and it was right before the holiday. Dr. Deb was wonderful and provided great info, while still making sure we were taken care of (even though she squeezed us in). I really appreciate that they care as much for our pets as we do. Thank you!
My trip to Lakeland Vet was an exercise in Up Selling. I brought my dog in for diarrhea and yeasty ears. Anyone with a Bloodhound does not need to pay for Ear Cytology, you can smell the ears and know. The Fecal Cytology was appropriate. However, once those things were established a laundry list of up sells was presented to me with the "High End" estimate of service cost being $951. The bill was still $463 for rectal and ear swab, probiotics, and some medication to "calm the digestive tract". My dog will not go near the pill... read more
