As if they weren't expensive enough! We have never been charged a fee when we take our dogs in for a bordetella vaccine. I took my two dogs in today and was charged $22 per dog for a "technician fee". The dogs were literally back there for 2 minutes each. that's $11 a minute. We won't be back!

My cat hit her face on out trailer today. Her tounge was hanging out and her jaw was crooked, she also had a gash on her face. My husband took her straight to Lakeway to be seen as an emergency. After not being greeted or even acknowledged when he arrived he went up to the desk and They said they couldn’t work her in. No offers of other places it anything until he asked. I have used Lakeway for 27 years but I will never go there again! I had an appointment with my critically Ill diabetic cat at 11:30 and I waited patiently until 1:00 in my car.I went in to ask how much longer and a lady at the desk said she didn’t know where I was even though someone came to my car at 12:00 to tell me it wouldn’t be long,they were a little behind. Have been with them for 11 yrs. for our dogs and recent change in personnel has made us leave. High prices, and lack of compassion.
Today we tried to make an appointment for our furbaby. After explaining what was going on, we were scoffed at, and told to use Google. Well we took their advice and used Google to find another animal clinic for our little one’s care. It’s a shame because our little girl has been going there since she was a puppy.
Do not recommend..rude customer service on the phone and in person. they truly do not have the best interest in their patients they see. All they want is your money.
It's unorganized, it's not ran with professionalism and courtesy. The receptionist are rude, harsh and do not care about their clients or the company. The front office Employees are allowed to be rude, mean, viscous and non helpful to both their co-workers and the customers. This place and it's new management is a joke and is ran like a circus!!! I took my cat to Lakeway for her annual visit on Monday! Not only was it very expensive, and a new Vet. saw our cat, but our cat hasn’t been the same since! Her back legs don’t work like they did before... she can’t jump and she’s been lethargic since her visit! It’s now Wednesday and I’ve called the clinic... but I’m not happy about how she feels! We’ve been going to Lakeway Vet for about 27 years with all of our pets! We always loved Dr. Pilkington, but he is retired now! We won’t be coming back!
