It's unorganized, it's not ran with professionalism and courtesy. The receptionist are rude, harsh and do not care about their clients or the company. The front office Employees are allowed to be rude, mean, viscous and non helpful to both their co-workers and the customers. This place and it's new management is a joke and is ran like a circus!!! I took my cat to Lakeway for her annual visit on Monday! Not only was it very expensive, and a new Vet. saw our cat, but our cat hasn’t been the same since! Her back legs don’t work like they did before... she can’t jump and she’s been lethargic since her visit! It’s now Wednesday and I’ve called the clinic... but I’m not happy about how she feels! We’ve been going to Lakeway Vet for about 27 years with all of our pets! We always loved Dr. Pilkington, but he is retired now! We won’t be coming back!

I have taken our pets to Lakeway for years, Dr Ealy has always been wonderful. Our last few visits have been extremely late and disorganized. I called today to schedule spays and final shots for my 2 puppies. Not only are their fees much higher than other vetrinarians (I didn't mind until now) but I had a little ray of sunshine dictate to me on the phone what my pet would receive (JENNIFER). I like the rest of the vets but not Dr. Carrie Ealy,she put my dog in a downward spiral in which I had to choose to euthanized her,if only a blood test would have been done before giving her a steriod injection was given
The veterinarians here are always exceptional, and kind. However the two women that I encountered today were not. One young woman rolled her eyes several times while my dog barked, I apologize but that's what dogs do (especially a schnauzer). When a call was made to send records to another veterinarian the other woman staffed at the front counter today was enormously rude and clearly just wanted an argument. Never once did she apologize or offer a solution. Just ill-mannered. We have 5 dogs that were treated at this location... read more

I use to love Lakeway Animal Hospital. It was the only place any of my dogs went. We were recently in for just a vaccine. There were all new girls working up front that have awful, rude attitudes so therefore, we will be finding another vet and will not be back. It is very sad because the doctors here are great.
My husband and I had the worst experience ever. Our precious boy died of parvo. We told the veterinarian that our neighbors dog had died from parvo but "because he wasn't showing any signs of parvo like bloody diarrhea or a fever" he was never tested. We were charged $315 for basically nothing. Our dog continued to decline and I ended up taking him elsewhere bc I had NO confidence in this practice. He stayed at the other vets for 4 nights and was treated. We brought him home and thought he was ok. He died on Thursday Novembe... read more
