unknown Lack of professionalism, did not receive a written estimate for replacement of ac unit. Verbal estimate was 1400-4500. Did not feel confident to continue with this vendor, based on a verbal estimate.

unknown It turned out that I had a blown fuse. He flipped the switch on the fuse box which corrected the AC to working. He was there all of 15 minutes. Thought the $99 I had pre purchased was excessive. Service was done during the summer.

Another review described him as a "pro's pro" and I totally agree Our air conditioning had stopped working, and I had two other contractors prior to Alan diagnose a failed compressor and that the whole system would probably need to be replaced at a cost of over $6K. Since it was a high ticket item, I wanted to get at least 3 opinions. Lucky I called him. He came out and within a few minutes had determined that it was not, in fact, the compressor, but that the indoor unit wasn't "calling" the condenser outside. It took him a ... read more

The technician replaced the filter-didn't charge me for it. The only thing I can suggest for future service calls is to have the technician(s) wear shoe coverings when going inside the homes. Since repairs or service often entail working out in the dirt, this leaves the possiblity of bringing in or tracking dirt inside the home especially when they go in and out of the home frequently during a service call. Went well, punctually performed check and maintenance on my air conditioner. Did thorough job with no attempt to up sell. Would definitely use if needed in future. Check and maintenance of AC.

My air conditioner is broken so I wanted the company to repair it and then do the tune-up. I spoke to the technician and informed him of this and that I would first like an estimate for the repair work. He immediately tried to sell me on a full replacement of my air conditioner. As this was the case I decided I did not want to work with this company as all they cared about was the money. I have requested a refund from Angie's List. I purchased a Big Deal for a 20 point air conditioning tune-up.
