This new facility is very beautiful and accommodating to the needs of your loved one. The staff is very involved with the residents and as they get to know them they adjust their care to suit their needs. They are very kind, polite and respectable and know each resident by name. They cater to their likes and dislikes while always trying to engage them in activities or events. We love The Sycamore at Sugar Land. My mother-in-law cant see very well so that limits what she participates in there. I would like to see them have more activities that she can do. She sits in her room too much. The staff take no for an answer too quickly. Most of the residents sit in their room too much. I would just like to see the staff be a little more persistent with everyone at trying harder to get them involved. I would also like to see the food portions improved, they are too small. I recently toured Landon Ridge for my mom. From the exterior and interior, the community looks nice at first glance, but it is very poorly maintained. The overwhelming smell of urine upon entering made a strong negative impression. The tour was confusing, with staff seeming disorganized and unclear about details, and communication before and during the process was poor. Overall, despite appearances, I cannot recommend this facility based on our visit.

This was lowest on our list for the following reasons: 1. didn't seem as welcoming as other communities, 2. the sales director wasn't as engaged with the residents and staff, and 3. The staff wasn't as diverse as we wanted. The community is more than one story.

Unfortunately this place has gone down a lot in the last year or so. My relative has been there and the management, communication and overall care has greatly declined. We are looking for another place. I'm posting this in hopes of helping other families with the difficult task of finding the right home for their loved one.

Landon Ridge was a clean and pretty facility. The food was good and the activities were good. It was nice a place if you were able to walk independently, but if you were in a position that you need assistance for toileting, or getting to meals or activities , they didn't do a good job of providing the services needed in a reasonable or timely manner. They just didn't have enough staff to provide the care needed. When COVID hit, my mother was on hospice, but they wouldn't let me visit with her. I hired 24 hour private caregiv... read more

I have been at Landon Ridge Assisted Living since September 28, 2018 and am having to move due to non-service and food. I would like you to know what I have been dealing with all these months and have reported verbally and had management come to my room to find out what has happened. Nothing has been done about these complaints. 1. Not enough staff and the staff you have is rude and uncaring. They make you feel they are doing you a favor. 2.
