Save your time and money. We wanted to enrol our son in the Gifted Academy program. We submitted all the information they required - there were lots of questions, essays etc. - so a lot of time wasted. We waited initially for 1 month to get a reply, and after I reached out to them they said they will get back to me at the end of the week. Now it's been 5 months and still nothing. Save your money. I had 2 of my 3 kids take a class this summer. There was no teacher interaction unless your child reached out to them on their own. All the teacher did was grade assignments but provided no feedback on what they got right, wrong, or where they could have done better. When one of my kids fell behind because apparently he wasn’t sharing his documents correctly via Google Docs, she sent them back telling him to resubmit but no instruction on how to do properly. Vet the students and make sure they are enrolling in the proper course before taking the parents money then refusing to give them a refund. Apparently this is quite common with them. Look at reviews on Consumer Affairs.

I am currently a student at Laurel Springs and even though the school shows amazing courses most of them you can't even take your first year there. The teachers are impersonal and don't make an effort to teach student's the material. The website barley works with my MacBook and have to pay an extra $99 towards my $7,000 tuition for the correct applications for me to submit my work. The curriculum is OK- my child finds it boring- I end up having to reteach her most of it (Which is fine). We don't believe in Homework-so my kid will not do most of the activities- some of the activities do end up costing you more in a month than the school charges you monthly (my daughter is stem kid so she does those activities which we also do out side the home). the other issue is-The teacher is unresponsive. I wish this school was more responsive. I wanted to enroll my girls here. The first time I called I spoke to a very nice gentleman who told me all about the school. Made it sound wonderful. I was excited to get the ball rolling on this educational journey. But he never called back to start the process like he said he would. I then proceeded to call again and was told someone will call me back. Again nada! The program sounds good in marketing materials and the admissions director is professional. BUT... the set up is awful and redundant. Your child will hate school before even starting due to the repetitive online registration and start ups for each course. If you pay for project based learning for younger ones you will still have to put them through hours of online set up. The curriculum is dry and uninteresting. I had rated 4.5 but am now changing to 2. My eldest has been going for 3 years now. This year is the worst. The curriculum is a big mess. Try to talk to the teacher and she doesn't want to hear it just shuts you down and says talk to the Admin. The teacher does not help the child, and has been rude.
