Great experience! We stopped in to eat before we headed to a show downtown. Our server, Melanee M was perfect. She put a smile on our faces from the moment she came over to sending us off with well wishes. I read another review about waiting a long time, wasn't the case for us, nor did I see it with any of the other groups eating there. Better menu than the last time we were here. Prices seem more reasonable too. We will come back for racing season.
It seems the restaurant does not know what it wants to be a steakhouse or pasta house. The food is delicious and portions are generous. They need to have an entrance that doesn’t have you walk through a smoke filled room of sweat pants wearing, chain smoking folks. I guess the casino isn’t sure of what clientele they want either
This was my first time at this restaurant and it is now my favorite steakhouse. From just walking in the door and seeing how it was decorated, the furniture they used, the music playing, the dark & quiet ambience was perfect for my birthday dinner. Our waitress was so great. She was great at checking in on us, going over the specials and making us our sangrias. The food was absolutely amazing!! The 16oz ribeye was great. My wife loved her lobster tail. excellent dinner!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were seated immediately and couldn't have asked for a better dinner. The staff were all very nice and eager to see that we had everything we needed.
Our second time at the LBV. We spent time at the casino, and our friends met up with us at 6:00. Very convenient. They live in the area. Great atmosphere....very old school with the wood paneling. Diners of a 'certain age' appreciate the Sinatra music. Friendly and experienced staff and server. Generally the food was good. The steaks our friends had were perfect. We have always enjoyed our meals at LBV. .. the lobster escargot is a special treat!
Yes, if you what an excellent steak. Italian entries, no. Service is very friendly and outstanding. Need to update background music.
