Feed up with buying XL ink and seeing one of colors quickly drop low. Finally feed up with buying XL ink and seeing one of colors drop low so quickly, as other reviewers have said over the last few years: print mostly Black but colors are used anyway. I sometimes take out the "empty" one, shake and more ink is detected when I re insert. The non-XL is just as bad. I love the printer functions but now have a load of useless cartridges to 'recycle". my old HP printer ink was expensive but longer lasting. Time to shop around.
Old ink The blue cartridge is dried up and printer still. Won’t work. I don’t know how good the other colors are
If vampires sucked money You won't get the 550 page yield it claims. Brother printers and ink are a complete disappointment.

What a waste... Printer was working fine except there was no ink so I purchased this and it wanted me to clean the print head ok... now the ink cartridges are empty. What a waste of money.
Received this cartridge on September 8th ... I ordered this last month when the printer said I needed to replace so last night, when the black was very light I replaced it, now nothing (see photo). Naturally Amazon will not replace because the time limit was YESTERDAY, my word to the wise use it before the return time limit.
Bad Product, 2 cartridges empty after only 6 pages of printing. Terrible. I purchased in middle of June, 2021. We don't print a lot and have only printed less than 10 pages since we purchased them. Went to print something the other day and printer is telling me that 2 of the color cartridges are empty! What?! Frustrated overall with Brother and this machine, to be honest. Ink is difficult to find and when you buy from the manufacturer, you expect better results.

Suck Your Wallet I printed in black and white only, also only printed in range of 20 times, I have sales records on my eBay, so I have record of exactly what I printed. The 3 colors are almost dry, purchased these in October 2020, it is now June 2021. I would buy these from Staples to play it safe.
