Absolute worst place ever. Never ever take your animals there. Had to put down my dog of 18 years, which as you can imagine, is a horrible and upsetting experience on its own. Then I had a horrible nurse, Casey Fowler, who was choking my 8 pound frail dying dog and my poor dog was yelping in pain. When I walked in the lab area, there was zero remorse shown from Casey and she continued to choke-hold my dog to get an IV in him. She had her hands around his neck. He was frail and dying, there was no way he could have done anyth... read more

I called at 8:05am to have my sick cat seen and they would not see her. She was in respiratory distress and very ill this illness came on all of a sudden in the middle of the night. They refused to see her saying at 8:05am they were out of sick visits for the day but they just opened at 8:00am. She put me on hold for 1 second and said no we can’t see her Oh but they could see her next week. Really next week.... I’m sure they did not see us since she straight out told me we were inactive in their system. We were told to eithe... read more

Business response:

Danielle, we are sorry for your loss. Please know we take your feedback seriously and are sorry we were unable to see your kitty. When we referred you to another hospital, it was actually in her best interest, as we did not have an available doctor at the time. We can assure you that our team had your kitty’s best interest in mind and did what they felt best in their professional opinion. If you wish to discuss anything further, we would be happy to do so and kindly ask that you give us a call.

My wife brought our dog in after he caught his paw on a nail head and ripped a claw off and ripped open part of his pad. The doors were open and while he was bleeding all over their lobby floor they refused to even look at him! They said they were closed and sent them away! Through many years and many different offices and states this is the first time I've ever seen or heard of an office turning away an emergency injury and couldn't manage to at least check the severity of the injury. I m appalled and can guarantee they wi... read more

I am so utterly angry, disappointed and hurt by the treatment (or more correctly the lack of treatment) that my darling TAM's brother (Talon Ruder) is getting from Dr Eric Pienschke. Talon is a sweet, gentle giant who should NOT be subjected to living in excruciating pain in his final days on earth, simply because a so-called caregiver doesn't want to step out of his own comfort zone. Shame on you for being so utterly callous. Give Talon the pain relief he so deserves....he has been a patient of yours long enough that you... read more

Business response:

Jaci, we’re sorry to hear that Talon is having difficulty and it is certainly not our intention for him or any pet to suffer. Legally, we are unable to prescribe or refill a controlled substance without a doctor’s visit first. This visit also gives us an opportunity to check-in on how an animal has been doing over the past year and if there are any other courses of treatment more appropriate. Our heart goes out to Talon and his family and we’re here to lend our support however we can.

I really like Rose at the front desk, and Dr. Hengst has been pretty good with our giant breed dogs- compassionate when we had to put on of our Irish Wolfhounds down and she spayed one of our females. The male vet there has worked well with my husband with regards to our older big boy who struggles with age-related stiffness. But for the last 7 years that we've lived here, it seems like about once a year this clinic frustrates me over something that could have been handled differently by the vets (not the support staff which... read more

I brought my pitbull in for a booster shot. I had called ahead and let them know that he is a strong dog (65lbs) who does not react well to being given a shot. He hates it, tries to pull away at all costs & needs a mussel because he snaps (it took three vet techs at our previous hospital). My dog is not aggressive and has never given us any signs of aggression or misbehaviors at home. From the minute the vet walked in the door she seemed timid and judgmental of our dog. She didn't ask what his name was and didn't want to exa... read more

Business response:

Hi Erica. We are so sorry for any miscommunication that you may have experienced at your recent visit. Our entire team loves all of our patients and always aims to provide the best possible veterinary care and client service. Our doctors have experience with all levels of aggression in pets and it was only recommended that you consider consulting with a behaviorist so that you and your new dog have a safe and loving life-long companionship. Please feel free to give us a call and ask to speak with our practice manager if you ... read more

Horrible horrible service! All they want is money.. Diagnosed my baby with "yeast in her ears" without barley looking at them ( it was the very old vet) gave me medicine that didn't even work! Staff is also very rude and inconsiderate. Very unhappy with the service I got here. And my dogs ears r still not better.
