Both my parents spent their last three weeks of life in the Leycester House. The standard of care was excellent. Apart from being highly competent the nurses were empathetic and looked after the family as well. They kept Mum and Dad as comfortable as possible in their last days. The nurses were highly experienced and kept us up to date with our Mum and Dad's situation. The doors open as you approach and a warm welcome awaits you. The staff are all friendly, caring and efficient and soon get to know residents and visitors by name. Meals are varied and nutritious. Light refreshments are available at any time. Rooms and general areas are clean. There is a varied programme of activities.

My mother moved in as a permanent resident for nursing care in August. The care has been superb. Staff are gentle, patient and clearly care about the residents. The nursing care is extremely competent and compassionate. Records are detailed and regularly updated. I am looked after too, plenty of drinks and food on offer whenever I come. My 85-year-old mother entered this care home after being discharged from hospital on 6th September. She had lung cancer and was in the last stages of life. I was so impressed at this care home. The building was beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean throughout. When I was called for open heart surgery, I couldn't go home so looked for respite. Leycester House was our first choice. Very welcoming, friendly and they had a clear perception of just what we would need. The whole ambience, high standard of care and support are apparent. Graham found the staff at Leycester House Care Home very friendly and helpful, always willing to chat and wave to him. They looked after him very well in very nice surroundings. He rated it very highly.

I was in Leycester House for six weeks respite care following a broken ankle. The care and attention from all the staff made my stay a happy and comfortable experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Leycester House to others or to stay there again if the need arose.

This is a very good place to be in to recover. The rooms are clean and stylish. The staff is helpful and there when you need them, for us, my husband and me, he is here too. This is what we are used too, it is tailor-made for us. We will be back.

Very reluctant to go to a care home but had replacement hip so necessary. Very happy and well looked after. Good 24 hour care. Staff very helpful and nice amusing company. A very nice atmosphere, very nice residents. Very lovely garden to sit in. Film theatre with good films. Transport provided at request. One bill covers all!
