The food was good and we had diverse orders. The service was quite poor and on top we were charged 20% for gratuity. He wasn't worth half as he forgot some of our order, was very tardy keeping glasses filled, and we repeatedly had to ask for assistance from other servers.

Salmon eggs Benedict were not that great compared with the ones at cafe Brazil and bloody marry was horrible compared with bar Louis bloody marry !
Costa Brava Coctel was disappointing, a bit bland, served with a mountain of regular chips, maybe to compensate for what turned out to be over priced shrimp and crab cocktail. Main dish was cold, portion was small and for blacked fish lacked in flavor, service was attentive and prompt. Not impressed.
Food was served cold. They brought out 3 entrées but the fourth entrée did not arrive until 8 to 10 minutes later Multiple mistakes with our order. All food sent back. Food arrived 2nd time and it was incorrect again. Gumbo arrived with no spoons and they forgot the rice. Service was very disappointing.
The devil eggs with the bacon jam was okay. The brunch food was not good. My sister order shrimp & grits and I had some kind patty with ham, eggs & gravy it was horrible. First time & will never go back.
Unfortunately service was extremely slow with an empty dining room. We had to request items 3 to 4 times. The gumbo was mediocre with lots of bell pepper and celery. Being from Louisiana, I was very disappointed considering the River Oaks/Galleria location and the pricey menu. Iexpectedmore
