We were on a Congressional tour and had an excellent guide. The Library of Congress is stunningly beautiful and very impressive. The forethought of our founding fathers was amazing and this is a national treasure.
It was a great moment seeing the reading room from the top and passing books which was owened by Thomas Jefferson
I love the Library of Congress. I love its history, its beauty, and its mission. Our tour was enjoyable and informative and it was fun to see the Children's reading room and the exhibits. LOVE Jefferson's collection.
Attended National Book Festival this past weekend at the DC convention center sponsored by the Library of Congress. It met my expectations and beyond. I had the great opportunity to learn and listen from well known book authors who graciously presented. What a treat! For those of you who are avid readers, try it next year. It's well worth the effort and imagine, it's Free!!!! Thank you, DC Convention Center, for checking bags. You made us feel safe and protected.
Had Fun, wish I had a early heads up about Stephen King man there but still fun
