The Library of Congress is living history. Walking the building you can feel the past and present. Excited to see Dr. Carla Hayden at the helm as the first woman and African American to manage this great resource.
I worked at the Library of Congress for 36 years. I have nothing but good things to say about it. As long as you work there you will always learn something new. Most of the people,are awesome people to work with. If you can take a tour of this great institution it has some of the most beautiful architecture. The great Hall and the Main Reading Room is a must see. I will not talk about my family but there is a 3rd generation working there now and it all started with my mother.
