Food was delicious and service was exceptional BUT due to weather we sat inside and were inundated with live singing piped in from the outside entertainment. Apparently this is new and they certainly don't have the logistics figured out yet. The musician's voice came through but whatever instruments were being played did not resulting in an annoying scratchy vocal. Karen IS The Lighthouse. Her LIGHT and presence can not be matched. It is no wonder she has been there 16 years. One feels completely at home the minute she takes the lead. Her heart is as big as Cedar Lake. Our first visit all the way from Naperville, Illinois was made complete. The food was top notch and seafood cooked PERFECTLY. Not an easy task. The lakeside views from each table or outside seating is perfection. Thank you!

Everything was perfect, starting with our favorite server, Kelli! The crab cake appetizer was amazing. Hubby's steak could be cut with a fork and my shrimp special was delicious; however, my favorite part was the wedge salad. The hubby loved his lobster bisque too. We split the dessert special, a strawberry mascarpone torte. It was so huge we couldn't finish it. It could have fed 3-4 people. The hour drive from Illinois over rolling hills and past beautiful fields makes a fantastic experience!

Food here is pretty delicious, but I think the star of the show is always their chocolate cake. I mean seriously do not leave here if you like chocolate without having a piece of cake if you can't eat it definitely take a piece to go with you. It's not a cheap slice of cake, but it is 100% worth it. Everything was perfect on our last visit. Our food was so good. I had the macadamia crusted walleye and it was amazing. Another person in our group had a mistake, done perfectly. My husband had steak Diane and it was also perfect. Our server was Ryan who made the night so special. A five star visit ... we will be back.

Great food. Very attentive server. Beautiful atmosphere. Dillon was our server and did not rush us out even though the restaurant was at full capacity. Lobster bisque and garlic salad were awesome. Drinks on special were very original and satisfying. Highly recommend

Our go to restaurant for special occasions & celebrations. This is the place when you want a great steak or Chilean sea bass and the lobster bisque. Everything is great! Our server Kelly made it over the top. She is fantastic! She's very upbeat did everything in her power to accommodate our food allergies. She made sure we were well taken care of. Love this place!! Pricey but so well worth it.

We haven't been to the Lighthouse since they changed ownership. We went last night for the first time in a while and we're very disappointed. Our appetizers were OK, but after that everything went downhill. The lobster bisque had absolutely no flavor. The ribs were dry and the mashed potatoes were so runny, and absolutely again, no flavor. We have a bunch of gift cards we have to use in the next couple of months. So we will go back, but we're going to be very careful what we prder.
