I stopped by The Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake, Indiana, and honestly, this place delivered exactly what I was hoping for and more. The atmosphere is beautiful -- right on the water, relaxed but still classy enough that you feel like you're somewhere special. The service was solid from the moment we walked in. Went here for a late lunch/early dinner and was so pleased. First time here and from the moment we walked in everything was great. Our server, Kelli was excellent and the other staff were equally great. Food is very tasty and the portions are ample. All in all, I would recommend the Lighthouse to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
Kelli made our first trip here amazing. Her and her college she sons work here. She takes do much pride in the food and the place. She gave us recommendations that were soooo good. Lobster Bisque. Crab dip. She brought us ice cream for our anniversary and kept our drinks full. We will be back. Great food, great staff and beautiful view of lake.

Food was amazing but it took us 45 minutes to be seated and we had reservations so I'd say be patient it's worth the wait
This was our first time coming in a long while and we were surprised with how good everything was! Much improved from years passed.
