Quality of food is low very overpriced. Pretty place but tried Macadamia crusted Walleye. Almost puked
This has always been one of our favorite restaurants. My wife and I ate here Friday September 22.. We had reservations for 4 PM. We both ordered the lake perch, which is usually the best in the area. The bread they brought us was not baked long enough. The worst part was the butter. It tasted like it had been in the refrigerator uncovered for a week. It was so bad we could really not use it. The food is only so-so and way over-priced. We asked for seating overlooking the water but we were told there was none available (even though the area was completely empty). But because no one had been scheduled to work that area!
We dined here tonight, after two bad experiences in the past. Well, third time is not a charm. The service here really has gotten poor. We sat outside and everything seemed slow. When I ordered a second drink I received the wrong one. Honest mistake, no harm, no foul. I kept it, as I do not like wasting things. When it came time for food, I ordered the burger on the menu. The ambiance was great beautiful view of the lake. But the food was not good at all!! Service was ok waitress a bit slow but not worth the money at all.
Everything went down hill since Covid and the food is nothing special anymore. Expensive and not so nice staff, they will let you sit till you stop someone to take an order.
I don't know what you guys did, but you all went down hill. Better figure out something soon or get a good investor cuz the cheap party atmosphere ain't going to last long. You got a great location, but the atmosphere needs too change. Get some professional cooks and bartenders
Our daughter made reservations for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was nice but not very attentive. She came to the table a total of maybe 4 times in the almost 2 hours we were there. Never refilled our water or asked if we wanted any other drinks. The bottom of the bread was so hard I couldn't cut it with the knife so we ate the top half of it. The baked potatoes were the same thing, so hard on the bottom, you couldn't cut them. They put us at a table for four even though we were seven people, and we had a reservation. They said that was the best they could do. They brought our apps and half of our soups, then the rest of the soups after the first people served were done with theirs. Weird. And our bill was over $550!
