In 2004, I decided to leave my broadcasting career behind and begin working toward a career in medicine. I was driven to medicine for a variety of reasons, including my own histories with cancer. I found those experiences as a patient to be utterly invaluable as I learned the art and science of doctoring, and I know my patients are glad that their doctor has that patient’s perspective.

Dr VanDyke basically saved my life. I had so many illnesses that no one would listen to me about. She listened with compassion and not only treated my Prediabetes and thyroid issues but referred me out to many specialists who weren’t even part of endocrinology to get me help. She figured out other underlying processes when no other Dr would listen. Her staff is wonderful and supportive and everyone there has top expertise in whatever their position is.
