Shopping on LiveAquaria is easier than local stores. I can find what I am looking for and they seem to be more hardy.
Easy to find exactly what you're looking for. I was more interested in a whole cleaning crew but the details don't describe how many of what you're actually getting. So I decided to create my own crew based on their recommendation. Hopefully, overall, my cleaning crew comes less stress for an easy transition into my reef tank because of the way they prioritize their shipping.
good variety. good pricing, stock arrives healthy and well packed
I ordered a Powder Brown Tang and a Diamond Goby. The two packages arrived fairly quick and undamaged. It was going to be a great addition to my tank. Opening the Tang package from CA store was packed good, but noticed the Tang was not swimming upright, laying on bottom of bag, and fins where little bit damaged. The Goby which came from WI store was packaged really good and looked in better shape and swam freely inside my tank til he hid.
Half of my shipment arrived late. My guppy shipment (6 male, 6 female) arrived with one of each dead. The females arrived with ragged fins, so I had to treat for bacterial infections. Two males and one female died after that despite perfect water parameters. The ones that lived are pretty (except for the females), but I only got store credit for the two that arrived dead. The shipping material was pretty solid, though.
