The food was entirely too salty and not palatable.
Service was absolutely horrible. Our server was very distracted and spent more time talking to his fellow workers than waiting on tables. There were 5 of us, so not a large group. We sat down at 7:05 and left at 9:15. Livery is a nice restaurant not fine dining. So it should not take over 2 hours to have a meal Tables who ordered their food after us received their food before us and left long before we did.
Went for Devour Indy. This was our first time at Livery. The wait time was very disappointing. Waited 30-40 minutes for each course. What should have been an hour dinner turned into 2.5 hours. The family next to us was waiting even longer, which was unacceptable especially when they had gotten there before us. The food was subpar. The skirt steak was cold and not cooked to my liking as I had requested. Plus the server did not mention the up charge on the skirt steak dish. I used to love livery. Definitely not as good as I remember. Food quality doesn’t justify the prices. Would skip next time. Drinks are good though.
I had reservations at 8:30, sat at 8:43. Water was brought 10 mins later. My drinks 10 more mins. Service was poor, my server was nice, but overall as restaurant nothing was cohesive or efficient. I paid for valet parking, and notified them of my anniversary of 8 years and still received subpar service. Simply disappointed.
Another great night at Livery. One of my favorite restaurants in Indy!
We really liked the guacamole and corn apps. However the empanadas were very underwhelming. Service was not very good. We never got refills on our waters. I ended up drinking both mine and my husbands water and he got a soda water and never got a refill. Dirty plates never removed. We asked for more chips to finish the guacamole and never got those either. We were sitting finished with our meal for about 25 minutes, ready to go until our server checked us out.
