Bread, appetizer, and wine arrived quickly but it took forever to get our tasty entrees. Would have been nice if server checked with us during the wait to let us know of delay. Sadly, no time for dessert. We weren't rushing; we'd just already been there close to two hours.

We have been to Luce's 2 dozen times over the years because it has the best Italian food in the city and because the owner, Joe Buonincontri, ensures that his guests are well cared for. Luce’s has a great menu from antipasti to desserts. It has the best Risotto I have tasted. I took a friend there for dinner. The bread was really good! Moscato was delicious! My lobster ravioli was so delicious that I used the bread to dip the sauce to clean the plate! My friend ordered the masala, the veal did not have much flavor to it, unfortunately. The risotto was slightly undercooked which I remembered somewhere that this was supposed to be the correct way of cooking it in the true Italian cuisine. The spinach side was good.
