A great place for dinner or lunch. The fresh preparation of the food and the attentive staff make this a good choice when choosing to dine out.

Luce, in our experience, has consistently good food and drink. I had a chunk of Chilean sea bass. Light, delicate with a great risotto to give it some heft. The server was attentive and the owner friendly. The restaurant provides a great low-level cool jazz duo that is worth listening to but does not interfere with conversation.
This is a bit of a mixed review. My food was great (meatball appetizer and veal milanese). My wifes food however was too bland. And the dessert was not as good as it looked. We would go back, but my wife would choose differently. Great wine list BTW.
We sat outside with friends and enjoyed the evening. Our waiter was young and not terribly experienced but he made up for it in effort and enthusiasm. The food was ok but could be much better. I appreciated that they are willing to take "special orders".
the food was a little disapointing.. the Osso bucco was cold. Teh piccata was ok. was not all that impressed with the food, but like the restaurant, may come back to try the pizza..maybe for happy hour at the bar

The service was excellent. This was our first time at the restaurant and we were very pleased! Our food was also very very good. Good atmosphere, not too loud. Everyone was very pleasant. The service was excellent. We will definitely go back again.
This is one of the best Southern Italian food restaurants in San Antonio. They do everything possible to make you feel welcome the moment that you walk into the door. The food is expertly prepared and served with considerable attention. the waite staff are extremely well trained on how to give the customer a FIRST class dining experience.
