Very nice of the Luce staff to serve Christmas Eve dinner. I wish the fish had been better prepared but the shrimp risotto was delicious as was the salad.
The special for the day was a flounder fillet with lemon-butter sauce over a bed of vegetable risotto. Fabulous! Everyone raved about their food.
We dined at Luce and sat on the patio to enjoy their special Thanksgiving dinner which was surprisingly priced very reasonably at $26.95. They also had great discounts on bottles of wine so we had two of a very nice Italian white wine. The turkey portion was very generous and the sides were what you would expect, stuffing, sweet potato and vegetables, it also included a big salad, home made bread with dried tomato butter and a herb butter and pumpkin pie for dessert. The wife and I went for the Thanksgiving special. We sat outside next to the fireplace, which was quiet and comfortable. The food was good. The wine was good. The service was good. The ambiance both inside and outside was nice, with interesting artwork on the inside. Having lived in Italy before, I cannot validate the authenticity of their menu yet, but I will definitely go back again.
Best lamb and Gorgonzola gnocchi ever.
