Food was good, ambience was also fantastic. Very European style eating, tables only 2 feet apart from others (something I’m a fan of btw, but some may not be). Would love to go back. Now it was Valentine’s Day, so I want to give Luce a second chance. Obviously the location was packed, and they had a special Valentine’s Day menu. Excellent food, Beautiful decor, good service, reasonably priced. Only thing off was the giant sheets of butcher paper covering the table cloths. Hearing the wait staff crumple up a 4 ft square sheet of paper after clearing each table was an unnecessary distraction from an otherwise pleasant experience.
Excellent service, the waiter was available and quick to respond to any questions we had about the menu and the wine list, very knowledgeable. We were seated right away and were made comfortable and special.
We had a table of 5 to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The Caesar salad was delicious and the Shrimp in Lemon Sauce was superb. Excellent service and good ambiance. I had requested a quiet spot and we were right in the middle of the busy room. I know that quiet is hard to come by in most successful restaurants on a Friday night but I wish acoustics were given more attention. All in all, we had a wonderful meal at a consistently good restaurant.
Wait staff excellent. A bit noisy. Coffee outstanding.
The dish I ordered was so salty that I could only eat about 25% of the meal. If I go back I will definitely request they leave off the salt.
Heavier crowd than usual and loud.
Wonderful ambience, service was a little slow. The mussels were perfect, but having lived in Italy for over 3 years I can tell you this was not real risotto. It was simply white rice with a few chopped vegetables in it. Everything else was great. Very nice wine list, and a nice romantic evening over all.
We had a great time as usual at Luce and Silvia took great car of us as always. Thanks!
