I thoroughly enjoyed my recent Lucid Motors | Torrance Cars & Coffee Test Drive Event. Upon entrance, I was respectfully greeted, asked about the vehicles I was interested in, and asked to completed a waiver via DocuSign. I'm sure the legal department will be happy to hear the team was on top of ensuring waivers were completed. Are you looking for your first EV? The Lucid brand should be part of your consideration set. The range and interior styling are superior to everything on the market. Took a spin in one of the newest EVs on the market -- the lucid Air. Before the spin I was taken around the facility and introduced to the sales and marketing team, before a brief overview of the lucid company and its family of vehicles. I really like the Lucid Air just for its looks, and even though there's some negatives overall I feel this vehicle will add improvements and maybe reduce the overall price so that it can be available to all. I have mixed feelings. The staff here is very friendly and willing to take the time to acquaint you with their brand and vehicle. The show room is large and clean, and they clearly have room to grow as more people buy Lucid cars. The product itself seems fairly classy, technological, and well executed. However, the policy of not allowing test drives unless a $1000 deposit is made seems unreasonable to me. My Lucid GT has been a great car but the service department in Torrance is horrible. They never answer the phone . It takes 3-4 days to get a hold of someone. This is unacceptable since they are the only ones to work on your vehicle. I don't exactly have a choice unless I want to drive to Beverly Hills or OC . I leave several messages and the service department does not call back. I recently had my car serviced for the yearly maintenance. In January 2026 I went to pick up my lucid gravity and I found some problem with the car I didn't want to pick up the car they said they are going to put it in due bill and take care of it in a week by valet service, they bring a another lucid to my house and pick up after 3 months they said the only option I have is to bring the car my self and get a rental from enterprise, We end up having them tow the car and I went to enterprise and had an option of a Toyota Corolla or a convertible mustang!! Service is horrible. Slow, non communicative they don't do what they say when they say, and they gave us a loaner with the registration expiring and can't get us another car. They also can't figure out how to pay the registration. Chris in service seems not to care and not able to find solutions.
