Dinner was good. The kitchen was slow. We waited 40 minutes for a burger and cubana.
very nice ambiance but seemed to be a little understaffed. food was very good but we couldn’t order dessert because the service was slow and we were in a rush. regardless the waiter was very nice
Good menu choice and served well by our waitress Madison. Had the salmon teriyaki - very tasty. Nice relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed our anniversary meal immensely.
We arrived early for a 12:15 pm brunch reservation, however, the service was very slow and we didn't get our food until after 1:00. The kitchen may have been short staffed, although there seemed to be enough wait staff - our server just wasn't very attentive. We had theatre reservations at 2 and just made it. I like the ambiance and the food was good - just need better service. We didn't notice any manager around to ensure things moved along.
Excellent food -- standard fare, well prepared and presented. Onion soup and mussels were particularly good. Very attentive service. We were dining before BSH concert, so prompt delivery was helpful, although those less in a hurry might not appreciate entrees arriving before the appetizers were finished! Ice cream and sorbet for dessert were partially crystallized (perhaps they had a freezer failure?) and probably should not have been served. Fortunately we didn't pay for them.
Our 5th or 6th time here - it is perfect for pre-Huntington Theatre dinner. Nice setting, simple but interesting menu, a good cocktail and warm, engaging service. The pizzas are a great meal with a salad; the sandwiches interesting. Only small quibbles are a few of the tables have almost ground level leather club chairs, which the hostess should reserve for college age calisthenics champions, and a surfeit of croutons on the salad. We look forward to returning regularly.
We had an early reservation before a show at Symphony Hall which is an easy walk from Lucie. The food, drinks and service were very good and we would return. The server was very attentive and pleasant. I was surprised that with the restaurant not being busy, we were seated at a dark table in the back of the room. I would have expected seating at a nicer table by the windows. That would encourage passersby to come in and given us a more interesting view than the back wall of the restaurant. Overall though a good experience
The experience was exceptional. Pleasant service. Great food. Nice vibes! Very much enjoyed my birthday celebration at Lucie's!
Wait staff were WONDERFUL! Everything we ordered was really good and large portions (though we found portions all around Boston to be larger than normal). Easy reservation, accommodated a 6 person late reservation with no qualms. Would HIGHLY recommend giving this restaurant a try. Would definitely go back if we get back to Boston!
