Over the past three weeks, we have worked with the staff at Lynridge to move our aunt into assisted living at Lynridge. It has been a great experience, and I am so glad we chose to bring Lynridge into our lives. She moved to Lynridge yesterday. It was a little emotional, but easier because she had visited for a meal. All staff are extremely helpful and very considerate to my mother. She tells me she really likes it there and is happy to be there. She is more vibrant and energetic than I have seen her in years.

The overall 5 rating is due to the staff, they really looked after Mom. Looking after Memory Care patients takes a special person and they did well. Food 4 overall. It started out in 2024 as a 5, but that chef left, the food was still good after that but not like it had been. Activity wise, they were great when we first arrived. They had a new Memory Care director, and she really engaged them. When they wouldn't let her do the program she wanted, she left. It took awhile for them to get a new Memory Care director. The facility is open and roomy and well lit. They have good programs to help those in memory care, and the staff has been very helpful for him

Lynridge has made some positive changes in administration. There's a positive energy in the upkeep of faculties. It's a great small community. The caregivers are supportive and go above and beyond. For the food, they simply need to add diabetic options. Previously the kitchen on had one oven that functioned. However Lynridge just added a second main course option. That was a great add. Mom has enjoyed her stay. The property has been bought by another company and the facility is now called Lynridge of Waco. New owners are making improvements. The food has improved since moving there.

They have some wonderful, loving people on the staff. The rooms are the largest we saw when we were looking. The shortcomings are related to staffing and services organization and management: health care is good; however, housekeeping is spotty and occurs randomly. The trash gets emptied most weekdays, but the floors and surfaces don't get much attention. The food service is poorly organized. Lynridge of Waco is a great place for loved ones to reside with others their own age and have someone there 24/7. I just wish it could be more affordable for long term care. However, we are going to have to move our loved one because she simply cannot afford it anymore.

I stopped by to visit this community today and it was simply amazing! The massive dining room when you enter is something to be seen. Staff and residents were very pleasant made me feel like family. Definitely a place worth looking at!
