I find it very important to leave positive feedback as I know only negative feedback is likely to be left and never acknowledging the good. Though Madison Reed as a company does lack a lot. The employees are phenomenal! Amanda is a god send to my hair, she listens, she executes! So happy! And if she leaves, I leave! Lol Thanks Girl!!

Please go to Madison Reed if you color your hair- can't say enough about it! Met with Antoinette and she listened during the consultation phase, helped me figure out what I actually wanted and then did the best color I've had in years. The price was about half of what a normal salon would charge, too! Can't wait for the salon to open in Summit!

On a steaming HOT day... Antoinette( gorgeous hair) last week 8/22 - I popped into the store in Montclair. I felt richer with information just speaking to this well versed , knowledgeable , and professional hair colorist . Asked ALL the questions NO stylist has asked me before- in order to reflect what I wanted specifically . A lovely, personable. yet direct woman. Great experience today! Went for a color consultation (walked in, did not have appointment) and the woman who helped me (I did not get her name!) did a thorough job walking me through the questions and selecting the root kit with permanent color. This location is horrible in every possible way. I used to color my hair here and they burned it every time. The staff is rude and deceitful. Today I came to pick up a product which I usually order online and I asked for a SPECIFIC color, same as I always use. The receptionist started to put an order together, but the manager came out and told her to give me a darker color. I booked an appointment this morning and walked out crying after 25 minutes without getting the service. I brought reference photos and explained that I have little experience dyeing my hair. I need there to be negative stars on this app because wow this is probably the most horrific experience I've had at any salon EVER. I was there yesterday in hopes of getting my hair dyed without too much damage being done because of Madison's Reed ingredients I was drawn to go there. THE worst company ever! The coloring treatment is horrible! I had so much hope and excitement and it all went out the window. It indicates all these none harmful ingredients yet my hair never felt worse. It took me two weeks to bring the shine and softness back to my hair by doing healthy masking. The actual site I went to has no management on site or anybody in charge.
