My parents have one of the large 2 bedroom apartments. They love their new nest and have made some much needed friends. Everyone thinks, Oh try to keep them in their own place for as long as you can. Or you're a bad child putting your parents into assisted living. Wrong! Very nice, very clean, great tour, don't know if its a fit for my mom there yet, as we have several more visits scheduled in the coming days. Seemed to be a few people sitting around with nothing going on for them..

They do a great job here! They're very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The dining service in particular is very nice, it's restaurant style dining where you order off of a menu, and they've got plenty of choices. I've eaten here a few times when I was visiting and it was always delicious! It's got a warm, homey feel, and plenty of privacy for the residents.

My father lives in the memory unit. The facility is very clean, has lots of natural light, and is attractive. His room has a sliding glass door (which of course can only be opened a few inches) that looks out to the pond and willow tree. There is a walking path around the pond and outdoor courtyards (all secure.) There are many activities throughout the day, including guest musicians and fun exercise classes. We're so pleased with everything that they do here! I'd rate them higher than 5 across the board, if I could! The staff are very caring, and respond quickly to any questions or comments that you make. They work hard to please the residents and their families. My loved ones health has really improved since she moved here, she looks so much better and is more alert in general. I'd recommend them to anyone, we've had nothing but good experiences.

Overall this is a pretty nice place. It's clean, looks nice, and the staff are all very friendly. They always seem to be a bit understaffed, however, and I feel like my loved one needs a bit more attention than she gets normally. They're always very responsive and happy to help if I point out anything I'd like done, though. I also like the pricing structure, most of the services they provide are simply included in the base price, so you don't have to worry about the price increasing drastically from a la carte services.

My mother was in assisted living and she deteriorated there, went to rehab, came back here into their dementia ward called "The Willow." She was doing well there but she ended up having a stroke. We were jsut disappointed with what the facility was able to provide. We couldn't go back there after going to the rehab, they kept in touch with the rehab while she was there and it was determined between the two facilities that her condition was such that she wouldn't be a good fit. I absolutely loved this place and the people who ran it were sooo nice. I felt my moms care had advanced to make her unelligible for their care level ??

Great experience and great place. Dawn was a very gracious host to my brother and I and helped ease our fears and pain during this rough time for us. Mallard Cove was spotless, rooms are great, activities are numerous and the dining room was inviting!!! Thanks Dawn!!!
